Cop Craft is an adaptation of the Shouji Gatou and Range Murata light novel Cop Craft: Dragnet Mirage Reloaded. A gateway to another world appeared in the Pacific Ocean not far from the west coast of the United States 15 years ago, according to the anime version. Leto Semani is the name of this other realm, populated by monsters and creatures from myths and sagas. Along with the gate, a sizable island that is now known as Caliena San-Teresa arose in the Pacific Ocean. This island is now more than just a portal to other worlds; it is also a super-metropolis with more than 20 million people and a vibrant fusion of magical and earthly civilizations. Even though the city of dreams may seem stunning and exalted, chaos is unavoidable in a place of size; under the shadow of the sprawling metropolis, crime, drug and weapon trafficking, and prostitution are all too common.
Tirana Exedirika and Kei Motoba cross paths in this metropolis, and they couldn't be more different from one another. Tirana is a young, innocent, and attractive Leto Semani knight who regrettably lacks any common sense. On the other side, Kei is a skilled and seasoned police officer who works for the San Teresa Police Department. Suddenly, the two are expected to collaborate... But even though they are always at odds, as they focus on pursuing a shared foe, a weird trust grows between them.
