The plot occurs in the far-off future. There, popular AI computers that are also frequently kept as pets and the virtual fighting game Rhyme have both grown in popularity. Aoba, the main character, lives with his grandmother on Midorijima Island and works at a typical junk shop. He does not participate in rhyme and is not a member of a gang, in contrast to his friends. However, all of a sudden, people start to vanish. Aoba needs to find the answer to the island's riddle in order to safeguard his daily life.
