Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is an action role-playing video game developed by Square Enix and HexaDrive, and published by Square Enix for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game is a remastered version of the Japan-only release Final Fantasy Type-0, which was released on the PlayStation Portable in 2011. The game follows Class Zero, a group of fourteen students from the Vermillion Peristylium magical academy in the fictional world of Orience who must fight against the Militesi Empire.
Gameplay: Final Fantasy Type-0 HD features an open world environment with real-time battle system similar to that used in Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII and Dissidia Final Fantasy. Players control Class Zero, a group of fourteen students from the Vermillion Peristylium magical academy in Orience. The player can switch between characters at any time during battle, allowing them to use each character's unique abilities to their advantage. The game also features a multiplayer mode where up to four players can join together online or via local wireless connection to battle monsters or other players.
