The tale of the demon king from another realm is seamlessly continued in How Not to Summon a Demon Lord, the second season of the anime adaptation of Yukiya Murasaki's light novel of the same name. Sakamoto Takuma is still imprisoned in the Cross Reverie MMORPG's realm as Diablo. He has, however, been successful in setting the demon king Krebskulm free along with his slaves Rem and Shera. He manifests as the demon girl Klem, but she doesn't want to create chaos; she just wants to hang out with the gang and eat cookies.
Diablo stumbles into a woodland while attempting to show a new spell. He comes across a female being pursued by a paladin throughout this procedure and bluntly saves her from the attacker. The young woman introduces herself as Lumachina, a high priestess of the church who is being hunted by assassins for looking into questionable church-related activity. However, after being saved, the devout priestess views Diablo as God, who has granted her requests, and because her life is still in danger, the group chooses to assist her. However, will Diablo be able to conceal the fact that he is in fact the complete antithesis of her god from her?
