Masaru Saiga, a fifth-grader, has one and only one career goal—to be a puppeteer. When Masaru Saiga's successful businessman father Sadayoshi Saiga passes away unexpectedly, he leaves Masaru a substantial inheritance. But because of that, he is also a target for criminals who will do anything to get their hands on that cash, including murder Masaru! When Masaru is on the verge of being abducted, two unidentified individuals appear to save him: Shirogane, a woman with silver hair who has control over the doll Arurukan, and Narumi, a kung-fu fighter with a weird illness called Zonapha Syndrome (Harlequin). Together, the three delve more and further into the sinister schemes and the scheme to rob Masaru of his riches.
