The human race ought to be destroyed! The gods, who realized during a meeting that humanity have evolved in the last 1000 years in a way that only brings sorrow and destruction to the earth, at least hold this belief. However, they did not account for Brünhild, one of the thirteen Valkyries, who intervene and demands that mankind be given the opportunity to prove itself and so avoid annihilation on the basis of a rule that the gods have established for entertainment.
Even while it initially seems absurd for the gods to battle against the lowly mortals, they eventually accept the proposition and participate in the pivotal tournament, known as Ragnarok. In order to locate worthy opponents who could defeat the most powerful gods, Brünhild searches across the entire history of humanity. There will be a total of thirteen duels when the fate of the world will be decided. Either humanity will be allowed to live on for the next 1000 years or will perish, depending on which side wins the first seven wars. Who will have the power to influence Ragnarok in his favor?
