The story of Restaurant to Another World centers around the eatery Youshoku no Nekoya, which is situated in the first basement of a business sector close to an office building. Even though the restaurant is typically exclusively frequented by businessmen, it has a secret: every Saturday, when it is actually closed, Nekoya is filled with very exceptional patrons, including elves, dragons, fairies, and others. These patrons come from a different realm. This makes it a familiar place with familiar food for the office staff, but for the customers who drop by on Saturday, it's just a kitchen they've never heard of or seen.
