In her second year of high school, Tenma Tsukamoto experiences the typical girl phenomenon of falling in love with a boy. She simply is unable to tell her classmate Ooji Karasuma how she feels for her. But one day she finds out that Ooji is switching schools for the fall semester. She prepares several dubious ideas to proclaim her love to him with the aid of her friends and her younger sister Yakumo, such as dressing up as a nurse or shooting him with love letter arrows.
However, Tenma is not the only person who has these feelings. Kenji Harima has also been severely impacted because he is deeply in love with Tenma, but finds himself in a less than ideal starting position due to his reputation as a troubled youth.
