Being an outsider at her school, Ruuko is not very motivated to make friends. But she wants to try for the sake of her grandma, and her brother offers her a starter set for the well-liked among girls card game Wixoss. It turns out that Ruko is one of the select few Selectors, i.e., a girl whose virtual character is alive and who competes with other players to become the Eternal Girl and ultimately obtain the ability to grant her greatest wish.
