Cybuddy, a massive humanoid robot that has been imprisoned in underground ruins for eons, is one day found on a cross-shaped southern island. Wako Agemaki, who they refer to as the Maiden of the Shrine and who holds the key to turning on the robot, is taken hostage by an organization going by the name of the Order of the Shining Star Cross in order to breach the seal. However, the battle to avert a catastrophe starts when a young kid by the name of Takuto Tsunashi leaves with his own cyberfriend named Tauburn to rescue Wako.
