Takafumi's life undergoes a significant upheaval when his uncle unexpectedly emerges from a coma after seventeen years. He is now expected to live with the elder man and assist him in navigating the contemporary environment. Takafumi quickly recognizes that his uncle has a problem, but that isn't all. He claims to have spent the period while he was unconscious as a strong guardian in a strange fantasy realm, in addition to loving video games more than anything else.
